There are alternatives , but none of the free ones I've tried are on par with readium at this time. Sorry, looks like I'm wrong. Lektz appears to be a derivative of readium, and there is an app for android. I was trying to get it working the other day, but there appears to be a problem with the file protocol, at least for me, preventing anything from loading that I've reported.
